Location: Big Bear, CA
For the third year in a row, two friends and I traveled up the mountain to a cabin in Big Bear. Despite the distance and time zones between us during the year (West Coast, East Coast, East Africa), we always enjoy stimulating conversation and many laughs. There was very little snow in Big Bear this year. Instead of sledding, we found alternate ways to spend the afternoon. With a little more practice, Becky and I will be ready to join the Elves.
(Yes, I admit, I am a product of my generation. I would rather play Elves and Orcs than Cowboys and Indians)
I don't know what an orc is, but I'd rather play Jedis and Siths. Whenever I played cowboys and indians I had to be the Chinese railroad worker.
ReplyDeleteApparently you have never read or watched the Lord of the Rings... Jedis and Siths don't use bows and arrows.
ReplyDeleteNo, I have neither watched nor read it, you should lemme see it one of these days so I can finally learn about orcs and golems and so forth. And I'm not allowed to use bow and arrow, I was too good with it playing Robin Hood, so I was banned for cowboys & indians to make it more fair, but I still wanted to play so we came up w/that neutral 3rd character.
